At Oral Traditions Healing Arts, we work with people who are living with pain, restriction, or dysfunction, even after being told “nothing is wrong.”
Pain is rarely random. It is often the result of tension patterns, old injuries, compensation, stress, and movement habits that build over time. Rather than chasing symptoms, we assess how your body is organizing itself and where it has adapted inefficiently.

Pain Relief Is the Beginning
Getting out of pain matters, but staying out of pain is the real win. That’s why we don’t stop at “feeling better.”
We help you understand what your body is doing, why it keeps compensating, and what needs to change to create lasting relief.
Rehab is not something that happens only on the table. It’s what you practice in the hours between sessions, how you move, how you breathe, and how you respond to stress. Small shifts done consistently create big change over time.
It’s an inside job and we’re here to guide you through it.
A Typical Session
Much of our work involves participation at some point during a session. Whether it is assisted stretching, active release technique, or brief exercise of a weak area, the client has a role in treatment.
But don’t expect a La La-Foo Foo massage either. The nature of our work is not painful. Sometimes a stretch is uncomfortable before a release.
